PS - Polystyrol

Crystal-clear amorphous thermoplastic with a brilliant finish.

 

PS has very good dielectric properties, a high toughness and rigidity.
This type of thermoplastic is, however, brittle and sensitive to impact.

 

Polystyrol is easy to color but sensitive to stress cracks.
It is not weather resistant and discolored by ultraviolet radiation.
Easily combustible.

 

UV stabilized and flame retardant grades are available.
